Charles Dickens was an author and editor. He wrote The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club, Pickwick and Oliver Twist.
It's the first important and widely read story of Dickens's. He wrote some pieces for various newspapers and some short stories when he was twenty or so, with little reaction from the public. Even Pickwick Papers wasn't immediately successful. But it's considered his first work and is certainly his first book.
Sketches by Boz and The Pickwick Papers. Dickens began publishing his Sketches by Boz, a collection of written pieces in the press. The following month (,The first installment of The Pickwick Papers is published on March 30, 1836) he publishes the first installment of the serial novel The Pickwick Papers, which ran until November 1937
Writer, he wrote novels such as Oliver Twist, Pickwick Papers and David Copperfield.
"The Pickwick Papers" was published in 20 monthly installments.
