In the original book by author and Oz series originator Lyman Frank Baum [May 15, 1856-May 5, 1919], and in the posthumous 1939 film version, Dorothy Gale and her pet dog Toto meet first the Scarecrow, second the Tin Woodman, and third the Cowardly Lion.
No Dorothy said she would miss Him the most.......
Dorothy Gale and her pet dog Toto met first the Scarecrow, then the Tin Woodman, and lastly the Cowardly Lion.
The Scarecrow.
The first time that Dorothy Gale is granted an audience, the great and terrible Wizard of Oz says to her, and then to each of her three friends individually, that he will grant every request in exchange for the death of the Wicked Witchof the West [in the book], or her broomstick [in the 1939 film version]. Dorothy kills the Witch. But at the second audience, the Wizard tries to get out of helping her, her pet dog Toto, the Tin Woodman, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion. The five friends find out what he looks like, and what a humbug he is. And so he ends up supposedly giving to the Tin Woodman, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion what they each already have. The only real, true solution that isn't as humbug as he is turns out to be his plan for getting Dorothy and Toto back home to Kansas. Unfortunately, Toto jumps out at the last minute, Dorothy jumps out to catch Toto, and neither is able to get back into the basket before the hot air balloon takes off with only the Wizard on board.
Ray Bolger was both Hunk / Scarecrow , Jack Haley as Hickory / Tin Man , Bert Lahr as Zeke / Cowardly Lion and Margaret Hamilton as Miss Almira Gulch / The Wicked Witch of the West .
In the original 1900 book edition, the Wizard of Oz tried to talk the Cowardly Lion out of getting any help for his supposed lack of courage. When he saw the determination of the Lion, he found a green-colored bottle that supposedly was full of liquid courage. He told the Lion to drink the potion. The Lion thereby would be full of courage. In the beloved 1939 film version, the Wizard said that the Lion was far braver than military veterans back in Nebraska. But those veterans differed in their wearing medals at parades in recognition of their battlefield courage. With a medal, there'd be no differencebetween the Lion and the parading veterans.
i will miss you most of all
No, the Wizard doesn't take Dorothy Gale home in his hot air balloon. Dorothy's pet dog Toto tries to run away, Dorothy follows, and both miss their ride back to Kansas. The Wizard flies back to Omaha, but subsequently returns to the beautiful, enchanted, magical lands of Oz. But he doesn't come back to rule. The position that he leaves vacant is filled first by the Scarecrow and then by Princess Ozma.
One could be Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz and the other could be the Scarecrow, Tin Man or Cowardly Lion. The dog, of course, would be Dorothy's dog, Toto.

Dorothy Gale cared about both Uncle Henry and Aunt Em. She appreciated her friendship with her relatives' farmhands Hickory, Hunk, and Zeke. But the one that she missed the most was Aunt Em. As she explained in the original 1900 book edition of The Wizard of Oz, Aunt Em was a worrier.

Those with the Lion and Wicked Witch of the West are conflicts involving Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz."Specifically, conflict refers to disagreement. Two conflicts found in both the original 1900 book edition and the beloved 1939 movie classic involve Dorothy. One happens when Dorothy challenges the Cowardly Lion bullying Toto. Another happens when Dorothy is imprisoned in the castle of the Wicked Witch of the West. The conflict with Miss Almira Gulch in the film foreshadows the subsequent conflict with the witch.
