Critics rate the old movie Psycho as the best horror movie of all time. It can easily be seen at any time in the world and still be creepy. Its psychological plot grabs up attention.

Most critics rate "Let the Right One in" as the best vampire movie of all time; the original Swedish version, not the American Remake which is called "Let me In". As one opinionated vampire movie critic I would agree with the critics on this one. I formerly thought "Interview with the Vampire" as being the best but not anymore. The movie is not for everyone. There are a lot of subtle points that only intelligent viewers will be able to decipher. People who enjoy mindless special effects filled movies will more likely prefer "Dusk till Dawn" as their favorite. The lost boys?? Underworld is the best depiction of Vampires and Werewolves in my book!!!

Okay, the next person who answers this, please say how they give the stars (you know, out of 4 stars to rate how good a movie is according to certain critics). The question is, who are those certain critics. Now, do not answer why they give parental-approval ratings (G,PG,PG-13,R)
Horror/suspense movies if they make you scared.
what rate is the Adam Sandler movie that's my boy
Horror, I would think. But it also would depend greatly on the person and the movie.
Most ratings from various critics have been 3 / 4 or 4 - 5 / 5 depending on their scale. For the most part, the movie has received excellent ratings from the critics.
There is no movie called "Hatchet Rate". It is possible that you may be referring to the movie "Hatchet", which is rated R for strong horror violence and gore, as well as language and sexual content.

The reason your heart rate increases is because you get scared you may not think your scared but you are and when your scared you heart pounds and increase the rate and as the movie reaches the climax the heart speeds up.

Box office ratings are ratings based on theater sales. Critics are select individuals who generally have high standards, and rate the movie by quality of things like directing, acting, picture and effects.
