I had the same problem with my 97, its the break booster. It should run you about $100, the part is the large rusted drum that goes between break pedal and the master cylinder (through the fire wall. No need to take apart the master cylinder, just carefully bend it out of the way. You may need a couple of adapters for your socket drive to get the old one out (bolts are under the dash)
DOT 3 Brake Fluid
You will have to put it somewhere warm.
You put brake fluid in the brake fluid reservoir on a 1998 Dodge Stratus. This is located on the master cylinder, under the hood, on the driver's side.
P235/70/R15Chevy Blazer 4WD 2DRwhat is the tallest tire i can put on this 1998 s-10 blazer without causing any problems? thank you
Yes, you can put a 1998 4WD S10 drive-train on a 1997 Chevy Blazer. However, it will not be an easy process and will require a lot of work to get it installed correctly.
The power brake booster on a 95 Chevy Blazer is replaced by draining and removing the master cylinder, unbolting the booster, and removing it from the vehicle. A new cylinder is then put in its place and bolted on.
No. That is a factory sealed bearing.
It can be easy to change the brake rotors. Lift the car, remove the tire, brake shoe and rotor, put on the new rotor, replace the brake shoe, tire and lower the car.
What i do is put it in reverse and go about 10 feet and brake a little hard then put it in drive. it always works for me when that happens
The ONLY ONE that you can put in it is the 4L60E. Nothing else will work.
Yes
take the tire off and then remove the brake caliper remove the brake pads take a c clamp and compress the brake piston replace the pads then put the caliper back on tighten the caliper bolts put the tire back on then turn car on and push on the brakes a couple of times
