Why not? It's a farm, right? Not all farms are the same size, they can be much smaller than 90 acres or much bigger.
When Oliver originally purchased 'The Haney Place' the farm had 160 acres .
90 acres=0.141 square miles and I am sorry, but I do not know how many miles not squared are in 90 acres.

It would likely have to be at least 40 acres in size to be considered a farm. Property smaller than that may be considered an "acreage" or a "small farm," not an actual farm.
There were 2.2 million acres of farm land in 2007, with an average size of 418 acres per farm.
The largest farm is 65,000 acres.
It can be any size, from 10 acres to over 1000 acres.
