Not all Christians need to visit holy places, only those whose sect says they must, or those who feel the need to do so. Not all Christians need to visit holy places, only those whose sect says they must, or those who feel the need to do so.
People felt the need to visit especially holy places, as they still do e.g. Lourdes.
One is Lourdes in southwestern France. See the link.
They don't "need" holy days, they have them just like almost all religions but they are not strictly speaking necessary. Christians' holy days aren't necessary. What to you mean by "need"? as in why do they practice them or what is the point?
You surely will now, yes.
Roman Catholic AnswerThe Holy Father did not use emotion to try to persuade Christians to participate in the First Crusade, he used truth. He told them that the Christians in the Holy Land had been brutally overrun in unprovoked aggression by the Muslims. They had been murdered, their holy places burned or destroyed, and those that survived were subjected to unbelievable discrimmation and harsh conditions, plus a tax for not being Muslim This has been going on for centuries but the Pope and the rest of Europe were also having problems of their own and had been unable to respond to the Christians call for help in the Holy Land. In 1067 a group of seven thousand peaceful German pilgrims lost two-thirds of their number to Muslim assaults, but it was not until Pope Urban's address at Clermont in France in 1095 that finally some Knights responded with help. These were Christians and Christian Holy Places, there was no need for emotion.

All disciples of Jesus Christ are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. The first disciples on the Day of Pentecost received the Holy Spirit at that time. The Holy Spirit has a manifold ministry pertaining to Christians. Comforter, teacher, empowerer, convictor, witness, helper etc. etc. The Holy Spirit is the same to Christians today as Jesus was to the disciples when He was on earth except the Holy Spirit is not visible and for most Christians a difficult Holy Person to understand because of the "conversation" between The Spirit and our spirit. There are many things the disciples of Christ could not do without the Holy Spirit.
Jerusalem is considered to be the holy place for Judaism, but not for Christianity. While much of the New Testament was written concerning Jesus' life in Israel, Christians do not consider Jerusalem to be a holy place. Christians believe that God can be worshiped at any place and any time on the planet; they also believe their bodies are living temples thus there is no need for a physical temple (Bible, 1 Corinthians 6:19)
God is Holy, the Koran is Holy, Makkah and its sanctury is Holy, month of Ramadan is Holy; there are many things that are holy in Islam; please be specific: do you mean holy places, holy persons, or holy events? kindly be specific. Also, what does holy mean exactly, I need specifics from you. Thx.
Christians make decisions based on the Bible because the Bible is the word of God. Whatever the Bible tells us to do, we need to do it because it's what God wants us to do.
