For one there are better reasons than Edward is hotter. Yes, Edward is hot, but Edward is more sensitive. Edward is a vampire and vampires beat warewolves. Jacob Black is like all rough and abnoxious, and Edward is sweet, polite and sensitive. Edward was Bella's first and Jacob is just a headache that gets in the way of Bella and Edwards relationship.
