In a 2003 Mercedes-Benz E320, the oil dipstick is located on the driver's side of the engine bay. Look for a yellow or orange loop on the end of the dipstick, which is typically near the back of the engine. To check the oil level, simply pull the dipstick out, wipe it clean, reinsert it, and then remove it again to read the oil level.

To check the oil level in a 2004 Mercedes-Benz E320, first ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is turned off. Wait a few minutes after turning off the engine for the oil to settle, then open the hood and locate the dipstick, which is usually marked with a bright-colored handle. Pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean with a cloth, reinsert it fully, and then remove it again to check the oil level; it should be between the minimum and maximum marks on the dipstick. If the oil level is low, add the appropriate type of oil as specified in the owner’s manual.
