An unusual answer was given in a best-selling book called The Passover Plot (1965), in which the author, Hugh Schonfield, said that Jesus performed miracles in order to deliberately get himself crucified, so as to fulfill biblical prophecy and prove himself to be the Messiah.
Answer:
The "purpose" of miracles is to inspire "belief" in something or someone:
"...Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep... Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent YE MAY BELIEVE..." (John 11:11-15).
"When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, He groaned in the Spirit, and was troubled." (verse 33)
That's why "Jesus wept." "...He groaned in the Spirit..." because of the unbelief of the people around Him.
"...Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? ...And Jesus lifted up His eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard Me. And I knew that thou hearest Me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, THAT THEY MAY BELIEVEthat thou hast sent Me." (verse 40-42)
Yet, for all that... what finite man considers a "miracle" might be the equivalent of "parlor games" to the Creator of the universe. Although, to be sure, instilling faith and belief in the slumbering spirits of men is no game.
Speaking of the coming False Prophet in the Great Tribulation, John records his vision:
"...he doeth great wonders... in the sight of men, and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth BY THE MEANS OF THOSE MIRACLES which he had the power to do in the sight of the Beast..." (Rev.13:13-14).
"Miracles"... be they genuine or false are intended to instill belief in those who witness them.
Jesus performed many miracles or wonders.
Jesus performed 19 miracles in Luke.
All Christans who read the Bible have the opportunity to read about Jesus' miracles. It is Jehovah God who gave him holy spirit to perform miracles. he could cure any sickness. Wherever he went, sick people came to him for help, and he cured them all. The blind could see, the deaf could hear, paralyzed people could walk, and those controlled by demons were free. He also brough back to life the daughter of a man called Jairus. All these miracles are the things that God's kingdom will do for all those who put their trust in God's government. You can read about these events in Matthew 9: 18-26; 14: 36; Mark 2: 1-12; 5: 21-43; 6: 55,56; Luke 6: 19; 8: 41-56; 17: 11-19.
All four Gospels contain miracles performed by Jesus.
Jesus came to earth to declare the good news of God's kingdom. To show what Jesus will do as king, Jehovah God gave him holy spirit to perform miracles. He could cure any sickness. The blind could see, the deaf could hear, paralyzed people could walk, and those controlled by demons were set free. Jesus even brought back to life Jairus little daughter All those miracles were performed to benefit people and to show what our future holds, under God's kingdom. Read Matthew 9: 18-26; 14: 36; Mark 2: 1-12; 5: 21-43; 6: 55,56; Luke 6: 19, 8: 41-56; 17: 11-19. Magic is something disapproved by Jehovah God. Read Deuteronomy 18: 10-12 which reads. " There should not be found in you anyone practicing magic, anyone who looks for omens, a sorcerer, anyone binding others with spell, anyone who consults a spirit medium or a fortune-teller, or anyone who inquires of the dead. For whoever does these things is detestable to Jehovah God. So to answer your question, which is " Does Jesus believe magic is good? Jesus shares the same opinion as His Father Jehovah. So the answer is no, he does not think that magic is good, because Jehovah thinks that it is detestable. Any practice of magic originates with the Devil Satan. 1 John 5: 19 warns us that the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one. And Revelation 12: 9 describes the wicked one as the original serpent , the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth. Matthew 4: 10 shows that Jesus told Satan to go away, because it is Jehovah God that we must worship, and it is him alone we must render sacred service.
By the miracles Jesus performed on the people
The New Testament has more miracles because Jesus is present in the New Testament and performed many miracles.

Elisha- raised the widow's son from the dead as Jesus did for Lazarus.
The Bible does not say that Jesus performed any miracles in the town of Bethlehem. However, it was the place of his virgin birth.
John refers to the miracles performed by Jesus as "signs" in the Gospel of John. These signs were meant to demonstrate Jesus' divine nature and identity as the Son of God. Each miracle serves as a revelation of Jesus' power and authority.
