During your first battle against Nobunaga he will have Zekrom, Dragonair, Simisage, Gabite, Fraxure and Deino. Zekrom, Dragonair, Gabite, Fraxure and Deino are all Dragon-types or part Dragon-types in the case of Zekrom so you should bring Dragon-types and Ice-types with you since Ice-types will also work against Simisage as well due to being a Grass-types. A fire-type would also be a good move because it would have an advantage over Simisage due to being a Grass-type and therefore being weak to Fire-types.

No. I think you may be able to battle other people in one mode, but I'm not sure.

Save your game before you enter. If it freezes, turn off your DS and turn it back on. Enter your file and youll end up where you saved. JA
How do you use a thunder stone in Pokemon Conquest?
To use any of the stones in Pokemon Conquest, you have to equip the pokemon compatible with the stone, go into battle (preferably a training battle and not one to conquer a castle, but that's just me), if you win, you should get a scene of the pokemon's owner says something along the lines of "Something is happening to [insert pokemon here]," then the little evolution scene will happen. The only ones I've done are Thunder Stone for Eevee to Jolteon, Water Stone for second Eevee to Vaporeon, and Moon Stone for Jigglypuff to Wigglytuff.
