does it smoke only at start up? then possible valve guide seals. smoke all the time? possible rings. no smoke? try using a thicker oil that is not a multiple viscosity oil. ie sae 40 instead of 10w 40. these will put a glaze on some euro. engines that will keep the rings from seating well
Oil is only likely to last a few months in a vehicle. This is less if the vehicle is used a lot.
No. An engine that consumes oil is either very worn or the oil being used is too light.

Ten liters per 100 km is about average for a modern car on the highway. For urban driving that figure is excellent. If the vehicle is running rich, there will be other symptoms. E.g. black smoke at the exhaust, poor drive-ability when hot and it will not pass any emission testing (if applicable to your area)
Most any synthetic oil can be used. A lot of people who own this vehicle rely on Mobile 1 to use in their Mustang.
No. The US exports crude oil. It also imports around 50% of the refined oil (e.g., petroleum) that it consumes.
If the vehicle exhaust is bluish, the engine is burning the oil and will need an overhaul. If it is not smoking, check for leaks at the oil pan gasket, damaged oil pan, oil filter loose or damaged,
It is a measure of fuel economy. It is the amount of fuel a vehicle consumes in litres for every 100 kilometers the vehicle travels.
Most newer vehicles require 5w30 motor oil. If your vehicle has a lot of miles on it like over 100,000, then you may want to go to 10w30 which is a little thicker so you will not burn oil. Every vehicle I ever had I used 10w30 castrol oil and change my oil every 3,000 miles and every vehicle had over 200,000 miles on it before I sold them. I also never had an oil leak so preventive maintenance is the key
The transportation industry is the largest consumer of oil, accounting for a significant portion of global oil demand. This includes various modes of transport such as road vehicles, aviation, shipping, and rail. Additionally, the industrial sector also consumes substantial amounts of oil, primarily for manufacturing and production processes. However, transportation remains the predominant sector driving oil consumption.
a car would lose power and burn oil by getting old or maybe if its burning a lot of oil u should switch to a different type like vavoline or penzoil.
The USA consumes approximately 18 to 20 million barrels of oil per day.
