at the end of metabolism there will be production of energy and heat
The brain, active muscles, and abdominal region produce more heat because they are more metabolically active.
That is not a straightforward answer because heat isn't produced by body weight but as a waste product of metabolism. The more metabolically active a tissue is, the more heat it will generate. So like muscle tissue will generate more heat than adipose (fat) tissue.
to be stupid and dum if you use this site anybody can answer on this doesn't look like you can... ^ well ya can
there cold blooded. that means they need the sun to produce heat for there body. if they lived in northern America near the parts where it gets cold they would die. they cannont produce body heat
the more active the cell is, the mitochondria it has. so therefore muscle cells have alot of mitochondria as compared to fat storing cells
Muscles produce heat when worked due to friction, the heat is carried away by the blood and brought to the skin for cooling. Lift something heavy then feel your muscle, the more you lift, the hotter the muscle will feel.
If the muscle cell in question is part of a muscle the active person uses regularly, the cell will be bigger and have more nuclei than a less active muscle cell.
Training in increases the vascularization of muscle so that more blood can be delivered to the tissue when active. In addition there is an increase in muscle mass, increased ability for metabolism with more myoglobin and more mitochondria in active tissue.
Yes lasers do produce heat. It depends on how strong the laser is though. The more powerful and the more heat that will be generated.
Meat is the muscle of an animal and active muscle contains a myoglobin which makes it appear darker than less active muscle. Since chickens do not fly their legs are more active than their breast muscles (wild duck would be the opposite). The difference in fat content also relates to muscle activity. More active muscle has a higher metabolic need and fat is the most efficient energy source.
endotherms are more likely to be active at night as they produce their own heat source, therefore could potentially be active at any time day or night (such as humans). Whereas Ectotherms have to reply on external heat sources to increase the body temperature and therefore activity levels (such as lizards). Consequently at night they are unlikely to be very active as it's generally cooler.
