Maybe you just don't feel the same way about the guy as you once did. People change their mind everyday about things, so it is possible to change your feelings over a long period of time. Maybe you have found someone else you like, but you tell yourself you don't, or you don't realize it, and that is why you are pulling away, or maybe its because of something that the guy did, like for example, he didn't write to you in a few months or something, so then you wait for him or whatever your own personal case may be, but then you just don't feel the same way you did before, so your feelings are different, and you pull away.
