Another word for an in-depth talk could be a discussion. A discussion can be had by 2 or more people, and can be used to talk about anything of interest.
This just means that the person in question is crying excessively. It doesn't actually have anything to do with the loss of a body part. Often, people exaggerate to illustrate their own frustration.

Not crying doesnt mean anything. Eveybody shows emotions diferently. Some people cry, some people yell, and some people want to cry but just can't.

You could add a comment in the discussion area. Type your main question in, then treat it as if you were going to answer it. There should be a tab marked 'discussion' just above the 'cancel' button to the right of the screen. Post some more info in there - and a message comes on the answer screen to tell people there are comments associated with the question.
