Because the continents move because of the continental drift
The continents are shaped the way they are because of erosion.
1. The continents fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. 2. There are animal and plant species, extant and extinct, present on separated continents.
They were once together in a form called Pangea look at a map all the continents fit together like a puzzle
Most of the Earth's crustal material (that which makes up the continents) is already above sea level, therefore it would look very little different than it does today.
because the plates shifted and there are earthquakes for millions of years
Because the continents move because of the continental drift
The continents look like that because they use to be a SUPER-CONTINENT called PANGAEA.
the earths continents are the same ..
The shape of the continents is mainly due to water erosion.
The continents are shaped the way they are because of erosion.
Pangea looked like a large continent. Once the continent separated, it made 7 smaller continents that we know today in 2014.
Much different than they are today.
Like earth and islands.
My opinion on this question is that its probably a pattern on earth. Maybe in millions of years the earth would look like pangea, then eventually back to how it is now and repeating.
The edges of some continents look as if they would fit together like pieces of a puzzle.
what do robots look like today?
