Why and when do you take a national cencus?

ok so you take the cencus because the city you live in needs to know how many people there are ...also you need to mail the cencus in so they can count you ......and you or they take the national cencus every 10 years.if you know what i mean and i said it wrong well then go some where else .....but remember i know what it is and im not lying... you dont believe me do you .................pshh go look it up then.:):):)lol

but really im not lying i learned it in school
