Cell theory is important because without knowledge of cells it would be harder to fight diseases, and we wouldn't know anything about most living things or about how our organ work at the microscopic level and wouldn't know how we evolved and with out it we wouldn't have known we had evolved( because we wouldn't no what precursors to the first animals, plants, and fungi are.) Real life applications: Germ theory of disease, Autoimmune disorders, etc...
Evolution is important because of evolutionary medicine, without which we would not know how to stop the evolution of disease resistance in bacteria and artificial selection which is the selection and breeding of organisms for a purpose, and evolutionary algorithms and also may help in learning what gene does what in the organism. Real life applications: figuring out what gene does what, Evolutionary medicine, Artificial selection, Evolutionary Algorithms, etc...
Genetics can help understand genetic diseases, and mendelian genetics can help us understand the inheritance of gene disorders and hopefully in the future help us to correct them.
Homeostasis can also help us stop disease as well and is important for organ donors and organ receivers.
Ecology is important because it makes sure we don't ruin the environment and will be needed in the possible crisis that we appear to be headed for...
I'm unaware of a sixth theme.
it is important to biology, because all of the components that salt produces when it is dissolved, is very important for the function of the muscles and the nerves

So we know what's going on with living organisms
Human beings are biological organisms. It is inevitable that biology is important to us.
The themes that connect all things in Biology is the study of life. After all, that is what Biology means.
A. Interdependence of OrganismsB. Matter, Energy, and OrganizationC. Cell Structure and FunctionD. Stability and HomeostasisE. Reproduction and InheritanceF. Evolution (Change)G.Metabolism
important questions
important tools of biology
LIFE - biology is literally the study of life
bez it is about science and biology is science
Biology is life. How the grass grows, the birds chirp and how we live. We breathe! Biology teaches us how are body works. Because of biology we have created medicine to fight off infection. So why is biology important to us??? You tell me.
it is important to biology, because all of the components that salt produces when it is dissolved, is very important for the function of the muscles and the nerves
Biology means "study of life". Therefore, it's very important to us. We get knowing a lot important things which are related to our lives. But "Biology" is a science that has many branches, all of them being very important also.
kfmghmm
no, chemistry is also important to biology but sometimes we doesn't involved
Themes in biology that come up again and again are: cellular basis of life genetics & heredity growth, development, & reproduction homeostasis evolution structure & function unity & diversity of life interdependence in nature science as a way of knowing
