Understanding that most people don't really care about your beliefs are is something everyone needs to accept. If they ask, then answer, if they don't keep that blasted divinity rod in your pants. I personally love me some Jesus Christ, but i recognize that not everyone wants to hear what i think just like i don't want to be preached at by some half-baked educated, Joesph Smith preaching, bicycle riding douche because despite how much i enjoy owning people in Theological debates, i just don't care. If your mom has that high of an opinion on what YOU believe, something she cannot and doesn't have the right to try to control, then honestly just... ignore her. That level of ignorance is just obnoxious.
