Burts Bees was bought by Clorox(yes, the bleach company). So, although I can not say if Burts Bees products were actually tested on animals, the company that owns them does. REVISION: While the parent Company Clorox has admitted to testing on animals, Burt's Bees NOT conduct product or ingredient tests on animals.

i personally think blistex. burts bees works pretty good to, but blistex works 2x better. my lips get very very chapt during the winter, vaseline works great to. when you first put on blistex it even feels more soothing!! so for chapt lips i would defenettly use blistex, but when it comes to sores i would use vaseline

If you don't want to kill the bees, just persuade them to go elsewhere, there are products that beekeepers use to clear bees from the honey frames before taking them. They are harmless to the bee (and humans) but the bees find them unpleasant and/or irritating. I don't want to advertise any particular product so I suggest you do an internet search for 'bee clearing'.
