Why are Christians so happy?

Lots of things can make Christian people feel happy. But above all, believing in Christ and having faith that He will fulfill all His promises is a source of tremendous joy for Christians. It's a feeling that cannot be adequately explained; indeed, the apostle Peter called it a "joy inexpressible." Such inner joy is one of the marks of a truly Spirit-led believer, and the New Testament refers to it often. A few instances:

John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 15:11 - These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.

Romans 14:17 - for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Romans 15:13 - Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 5:22, 23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Philippians 4:7 - and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

James 1:2 - My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

1 Peter 1:8 - whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,

1 John 1:4 - And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.

Christians are so joyful/ happy because of the love of Jesus. Once you realize how much he did for you, and that he is real you can't help but be joyful. I'm so happy because God has been so amazing in my life. I was always the one in the corner that was all alone watching everyone have fun with their friends when I had none. Who knows where I would be right now without Christ. God was always there for me, unlike anyone else was at those times. The only person I could depend on was God. Because of all that God has done in my life, I try and make it so that no one that is around me feels that way. I comitted myself to Christ at age 4, and he has been helping me ever since.

Christians believe that because Jesus was resurrected, whoever believes in him (or believes that he was the messiah and that he died for our sins then rose again) will have eternal life in heaven after death on earth. That sounds like something to get excited about, doesn't it?
