I have a 97' Chevy Cavalier, and my check engine light comes on every once and a while. When it does come on the ETS OFF light also comes on...did you mean the ETS OFF light? or the EST OFF light? ETS OFF means the Enhanced Traction System. I took my car to Autozone and had them read the computer and it had something to do with a misfiring sparkplug, I replaced the sparkplugs and now everything is fine.
