No, but a Chevy dealer can. The light is on because there is a problem with the system. Get this fixed immediately or you may have an accident.
make sure gas cap is on all the way or missing cap ,this car must have a gas cap or computer will read [large] emissions leak or emission gas cap, hope this works!
A possible problem could be you power wire is pinched somewhere causing it to touch a ground which will blow the fuse.

There is no pcv "valve" on the 2.2 but the pcv "system" keeps oil from getting into the intake. I'm trying to fix my 2.2. Oil everywhere.
You should suspect the rear brakes for this one...maybe at their wear limit and keeps the light on....Possibly the front brakes...This IS a 2000 model.
Overload or dead short in either one of the fixtures (remove bulb and check sockets one at a time) or in steering column
You need to have it checked for codes. If you fix the cause of the codes the light will stay off.
you need a new battery usally every ten years there is probably a warranty on it chech it out
I have the same problem with my truck, It notorious... You have a stuck EGR valve.. Replace the EGR valve and it should work fine.
