Because they don't practice a religion where it is a sin to kill the baby/ not have one. Religious people want things like that to work naturally.
No. But they can be educated on the importance of birth control.
Is normal. You have to get a doctor's prescription regardless of your age.
Teens can take the birth control pill.
To prevent pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases.
You should not mix pills with your birth control pills. This candamage your insides or cause your birth control to be ineffective. Mixing pills is dangerous.
Why? So that they don't become pregnant when they have sex, obviously. The same reason that an adult would be given birth control. Obviously, a teenager is MUCH less likely to be able to appropriately deal with an unplanned pregnancy, and therefore should have many birth control options available to them. If teens were denied access to birth control, well, we'd have many more babies having babies. If you don't know for a fact, 100% that a teen would NOT have sex if birth control were not available to them, then birth control should be made available to them. They're going to have sex no matter what. Might as well make sure that they are as safe and well-informed as possible. Yes, abstinence IS ideal, but it's not likely that it will be practiced. For those kids that choose to not practice abstinence, well, birth control is a must. I hope your kid doesn't end up knocked up/knocking another kid up.
They think they know how to be responsible adults after sexual intercouse.
Women's breasts don't grow from birth control pills.Hormonal birth control can cause temporary breast swelling but this is temporary, no more than a person would naturally see during the menstrual cycle, and often accompanied by tenderness. Many women use hormonal birth control in their teens and early twenties, when breast growth is most likely to occur, some people mistakenly attribute natural breast growth to use of the birth control pill.
yes because they are less likely to use birth control because they can't afford it, or are afraid of violation of privacy, can't afford it. etc. also, because teens are more fertile than older people. So if a teen has unprotected sex they are more likely to get pregnant than someone who is 30 years old having unprotected sex.
Yes it can be and it works well to get rid of the most severe problems.
No. It depends on their peers, friends, personality, and their own personal code of ethics.
Fertility-awareness (abstinence during fertile cycle) and withdrawal take more self control than some teens (and anyone - really) have and are not as effective as hormonal BC and condoms.
