Do newer Webkinz cost more

Because kids really can get addicted to this stuff easilylittle kids enjoy playing games on the computer. especially ones that have to do with animals. so webkinz is perfect because it is a game on the computer, has to do with animals, there are arcade type games on it, and they can compete with other people for "money" and buy clothes and such

I was wondering the same thing but think about it its a cute stuffed animal and a code where you can play on the computer and have tons of cuddly fun for such a long time. It is worth it to me, I guess.

Well if you think about it there not really that expensive for what your getting, and that's how Ganz makes there money.

well like the 1st person said they come with codes. Think about a whole website were you play with your furry little pet and get to play games and talk to other people.The price is high but you get alot with them.What really blew me away was i was looking at websites for cheaper ones and there was a $80.00 one! Now that is high(it was not signatuer or anything like that)Some webkinz can be expensive, [like a cheeky dog for $1,000] but they are also pretty cheap if you think about it. You really do get the most out of your dollar! (: Also, I agree with the above people.

Newer webkinz do NOT cost more at more common places like "Walmart", "Fye", and "Marshalls", and sometimes eBay. Usually at more expensive places like "Limited Too (Justice)", a newer webkinz usually cost about $00.50 - $1.50 more! Webkinz ePets on webkinz.com, usually vary the prices.

They stopped making it, and now wherever you look, they are very expensive. I completely know how you feel if you are dissapointed about this. I had a hard time getting mine and I am very sad that the Peace Puppy is so rare.

The product is high on demand, and therefor the price is higher. Also, inflation and the economy is causing Webkins and other toy companies to raise prices.
