you didn't say which lights. is the switch on the dome in the right position
change the headlight switch !
On a 1999 GEO Tracker, a bad fuse can cause the headlights and dash lights to blink. A bad voltage regulator or alternator can also cause lights to blink and flicker.
No, It Didn't
Check the instrument cluster in the Tracker. If the fuse is ok then it is probably the connections on the cluster.
It has continual running lights, they don't shut off.
Check to see if the stop lights are working - same circuit for shift interlock and stop lights - check fuse Try turning key to 1st (unlock) position Shift to Neutral Start vehicle and then shift to "Drive"
I would first check all fuses. My 2002 uses a weird configuration and requires several fuses to work all of the lights properly.
(1995) ( Geo) ( tracker ),the wheel light comes on with the hubs locked in and the shifter in , but the 4 wheel drive does not appear to be locking in.
Drive it
Yes, the 1997 Geo Tracker can come with a front-wheel drive (FWD) configuration, particularly in its automatic transmission models. However, it’s worth noting that many versions of the Tracker were also available with four-wheel drive (4WD). If you are specifically looking at a model with FWD and an automatic transmission, then yes, it is front-wheel drive.
Driver side under dash near hood release there is a fuse block.
