Religious apologists trot out a number of responses to this question:
- it serves a higher purpose not to heal them
- we aren't supposed to put god to the test
- we don't know but He has His reasons
- we must suffer to become better
- oh he does, but the cases are hidden by disbelievers
The are no verifiable cases of any miraculous cures. Most cures are effected by the bodies own recuperative processes or dedicated teams of medical workers. Some injuries like amputation are beyond these remedies at the present time but research continues on limb regeneration.

Answer 1No. Amputees are not evil. Some say God never cured amputees because no one would ever believe that even a god could grow new limbs. But in heaven, all amputees will be made whole, since everyone will be perfect.
