Why are babies born to unwed teen women while 'Godly' married women are left infertile?

Well, to answer your question as a very strict bible thumping, Sunday school teaching, Christian. God has a very sick sense of humour. Now for your problem. If you are unable to conceive at all, I suggest surrogacy. If you are fertile and it just wont take then I suggest you stop stressing over it. My aunt is a midwife and has seen many women with this problem time and time again. Take some deep breaths, don't worry about getting pregnant because your husband will love you anyway (if hes the right one for you, trust me I know). Just relax and don't try so hard. maybe read a book before bed or go out on the town with your charming husband or friends. If its just stress you'll be fertile before you know it.

Let's ignore the previous answer temporarily, while we address what appears to be your REAL question. "Why is God unfair?" He apparently gives unwed mothers unwanted babies and he denies babies to "Godly married women", who presumably want them.

If you wish to pick out only selected facts, then you can come up with astonishing revelations all that you want. To focus ONLY on the unwed mothers that have babies is as realistic as focusing ONLY on the married women that can't conceive.

The facts are:

1. Married women have children all the time after having sex. Just not all of them.

2. Unmarried women have children all the time after having sex. Just not all of them.

3. Unmarried, teen-aged "women" have children all the time after having sex. Just not all of them.

4. Unmarried, teen-aged "women" on crack or other drugs, have children all the time after having sex. Just not all of them.

What you can conclude from all of this, is that sexual intercourse leads to children for most people, most of the time. Some people are infertile either WITH a particular partner, or because of some physical condition that prevents pregnancy. Since this would be true NO MATTER whether they would be married or not, and whether they were a teenager or not, and whether they took drugs or not, and whether they even WANTED children or not, WHY BLAME GOD?

Is it really HIS fault that your husband got kicked by a playground bully in the 7th grade and the damage never healed?

Is it really HIS fault that you've ingested so many toxic substances that your body spontaneously aborts fetus after fetus, in an effort to create a healthy environment for the 5th or 6th fetus that gets created through the process of dumping many of the toxins into each fetus that gets aborted?

Is it really HIS fault that the teen-aged girl that has unprotected sex has a body that functions perfectly normally and produces a healthy child after having sexual intercourse?

How can you know for certain that any of those women that "can't have a baby" don't have something valuable to learn about the process of life that requires them to wait and learn how to be a good parent first? Or perhaps they need to simply really become clear about WHY they want a child in the first place. Does the world REALLY need another child in THAT particular location? Has anybody really thought about their actions? The previous writer made a point about God's sense of humour. I agree, he has one. But it is the kind of humour that would get a chuckle out of arranging things to protect somebody, and then get blamed for the consequences of that protection "as an uncaring God".

If you have actually determined that you would make a good parent (and have the experience of taking care of other people's children to prove it, along with the parenting classes to help fill in the gaps you missed but didn't realize were there), AND you have made various attempts at getting pregnant with your happily married spouse who also AGREES that THEY want children and would be a good parent, and THEY have the experience of taking care of other people's children to prove it, along with the parenting classes to help fill in the gaps they missed but didn't realize were there, and you have had no luck trying various "fertility" methods for 3 to 5 years, then consider ADOPTING one of those "unwed mother's infants" and see if you can't learn something about God's world where you have a chance to have a child after all, due to someone else's "immorality and immaturity".
