This is just part of the 'bilateral symmetry' of your body, and is an inconsequential outcome of your evolution. No advantage would accrue if they were at different heights.

However, for example, there is an advantage for your bladder to be lower than your kidneys, and for the urethra to be even lower again. There are obvious advantages for this layout.

In general, even for the mammals with a 'horizontal' body shape, such as cattle, cats, and dogs, they still have their kidneys at an elevated position compared to the urethra.
