Bubbles, such as a soap bubble with a pocket of air or air bubbles in water are the shape they are because it's the most energy efficient shape for them to take. It allows for an equal surface pressure on all sides. This is why a sphere is one of the strongest structures because it is able to spread out pressure equally on all sides.

A bubble "rises" in water because water is heavier then air. Think about it, if you have a small amount of air in a bottle it rises to the top, or whatever direction that gravity is not pulling from. If gravity where to pull from the side the air would be evenly distributed on the other side because water is heavier/denser then air.

What do you do when you see the squid on club penguin?

You follow it to the reef tunnels but on the way keep yourself up with the bubbles. HINT: If you hover over the bubbles the will keep you from sinking.

They are the same. When cold water heats up and bubbles that means it is boiling.

Why is lather of soap always white?

There are two things at work, here: The first has to do with way the light that is reflected. The spherical bubbles reflect all colors, the achromatic sum of which is white. This is the same as a cloud on a sunny day, where water particles work the same way as the bubbles and give the cloud a white appearance. The second has to do with the density of the particulate in the water; keep in mind that, other than the particulate floating in the water, the water itelf is clear. Once it is broken down to a foam, the colored particles are diffused. This is the same as grinding up a colored substance; if you grind it fine enough relative to the particles which color it, it will turn white.

What is the mathematical name for the shape of the structure of the Eden project?

The structure of the Eden Project is primarily made up of geodesic domes, which are spherical or partial-spherical structures composed of a network of triangles. These domes are designed to be lightweight yet strong, allowing for large interior spaces without the need for support columns. The overall shape can also be described as a combination of polyhedra, specifically made up of hexagonal and pentagonal units, resembling a cluster of interconnected bubbles.

Who made up the word bubbles?

The word "bubbles" comes from the Middle English word "bobel" which meant a small swelling, similar to a bubbling or bursting water droplet. Over time, this word evolved to refer to spherical air or gas-filled pockets in liquid.

How do you make a spherical decahedron?

All polyhedra are made up of polygonal faces and so any curvature is prohibited. It is therefore not possible to have a spherical decahedron.
