Hi people this iss Daniel ahha..."carbohydrates are important as they can be used to store energy. Carbohydrates are made of glucose molecules, and can be deconstructed through cellular respiration to give off energy in the form of ATP. Glucose is an example of a carbohydrate that forms polymers such as starch, and cellulose. In Plants, Cellulose is used to create the cell wall, and serves a structural purpose. Starch is an energy polysaccharides (many units of glucose interconnected). A perfect proof for this is potatoes. Potatoes react with iodine and turn black, showing that there is a excessive amount of Starch present. As they are the roots, plants store the energy in the potatoes in form of starch"
There are many reasons:-
It is vital for metabolic reactions.....
It gives very quick and are energy effecient
Alot of carbohydrates are digested right in the mouth (amylose)
As the name says carbo ( carbon) hydrate (water) as result of metabolic reaction
it produces water in the body....
Most of carbohydrates are found in vegetables... and vegetables are anti-constipation
and good for heart.
Carbohydrates can easily be stored in your body to be used when needed.
The carbohydrates are the compounds which provide energy to living cells. They are compounds of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen with a ratio of two hydrogens for every oxygen atom. The carbohydrates we use as foods have their origin in the photosynthesis of plants. They take the form of sugars, starches, and cellulose.
Carbohydrates are important for organisms for many reasons. They are used to form structural and support materials for the cell. Another major function of carbohydrates is energy storage.
Carbohydrates (a more correct term is glucides) are a source of energy for living systems.
To Provide us with energy
Among living things, the most common among the polysaccharide structural carbohydrates is cellulose. Cellulose is the monosaccharide that composes the hard bodies of crabs and insects.

basic needs of most living things.
Yes. Carbon is the most abundant element found in living things.
Carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids.

That is the element, "Oxygen".

They are a source of energy for most living things but they are also used for building blocks to modify proteins. Plants use carbohydrates in the form of cellulose to build their rigid structures.

Most likely. I dont know for a fact, but most living things have a circulatory system. Id be suprised if thay dont. The circulatory system is needed in most living things.
If you eat too many carbohydrates and don't exercise enough you will put on weight. Wheat products are a good source of carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are the most common source of energy in living things. If you do not want to eat carbohydrates, then avoid potato chips.
