because thats what gasoline is made out of, and people started using it without knowing that is was hurting the environment. But now you can buy electric cars, although that does still use fossil fuels (electricity) unless you have solar pannels or wind powered electricty to charge your car with. The car doesnt polute then, its just that fact that you are using electricity. there are other kinds of fuel you can use in a car but I think they still pollute
power plants fueled by fossil fuels
All cars use fossil fuels somewhere in their energy cycle.
No. Most cars use fossil fuels (primarily gasoline and diesel made from oil).
We are extremely reliant on fossil fuels as we use it to power our cars and in our homes.
There is no need for fossil fuels
things such as cars plans and certain factories burn fossil fuels
we burn them to make energy and or heat in homes ect.
Gasoline and ordinary diesel fuel are both fossil fuels, so almost all cars run only on fossil fuels.
Fossil Fuels
Cars emit pollutants like carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter when burning fossil fuels. These pollutants can contribute to smog, respiratory issues, and global climate change. Transitioning to cleaner fuels or electric vehicles can help mitigate these impacts.
Makes the car go forward!!
Petrol, diesel and LPG are the main fuels. They are hydrocarbon fossil fuels.
