Chaldeans are so close to their family because we all come from villages. Everyone knows everyone and in our culture we are raised with our family. We consider our 1st cousins as our own siblings and anyone who is related to us is still family. We grow up seeing each other every day.

We are raised to believe family comes before everything. If you do not have family then you are nothing
