Cheetahs hunt by stalking their prey, and then jumping out into running position, then with all of their legs- front legs almost touch the back legs and back legs almost touch the front, then the cheetah stretches out its legs far, and countinues to do that until it catches its prey. They hunt to survive, and they are also better at surviving than tigers:]

Cheetahs are the ones most amenable to domestication. They can be trained to be used similar to speed hunting dogs, like Greyhounds.
