Why are cigarette commercials no longer allowed on TV when they do allow alcohol commercials and cigarettes kill slowly but driving drunk can kill many people and much faster?

because drunk driving doesnt happen to everyone, while cigarettes affect anyone who smokes them. drinking alcohol alone doesnt kill you, while smoking cigarettes do :/
