Curfews in most cases are unconstitutional because it violates one or more amendments of the Constitution. There have been cases where curfews have been deemed constitutional after revisions that allow exceptions to the curfew ordinance. I.E being out with parent's, work, youth event at a specific place and time, ect.

Parent enforced curfews are legal on all grounds. Exception might be if the child is 18 or older.
