plate tectonics
there isn't necessairly an answer, depending on how the plates under the earth move - causing more earthquakes etc - there is no answer to whether or not Japan will be destroyed.
Examples: Greece, Turkey, Macedonia, Romania, Iran, Japan, China, Indonesia, Chile, Russia, Armenia, Philippines, Italy etc.
The Ring of Fire
It is important for canada to trade with japan because canada has lots of agricultural products ( food products) , and japan doesnt have much anymore because of the war , tsunamis, earthquakes, etc. And japan has lots of mechanical parts to make electronics , and canada doesnt so its an equal trade to both countries.
Contrary to belief, earthquakes don't just occur on Earth. They can form on any planet that has a rocky surface and tectonic plates. For instance, the moon can, and often does, have earthquakes, although they are more commonly referred to as lunarquakes. Mars can have earthquakes as well. Just because the title is earthquake, does not limit the event to just our planet. That is just what we Terrans (Earthlings, humans, etc.) call them.
People have been living in Japan for many thousands of years, and they naturally think of it as their home, just as people in any other country think of that country as their home. Beyond that, there is a great investment in Japan. Lots of valuable buildings, etc. Despite the threat of earthquakes, Japan is very valuable. It would be tremendously expensive if the Japanese were to move elsewhere out of fear of earthquakes. And besides, their Mount Fuji is SO beautiful, that a film-making company named themselves after it... FujiFilm!
No. Earthquakes differ in cause (strike-slip, megathrust, volcanic, etc.) and in intensity.
The greek word for earthquakes is seismos (σεισμός) . A word that derives from that is seismology : the scientific study of earthquakes, seismic activity etc
