Actually disregard that altogether because for a second there, I just had no idea what I was talking about. The real answer is that some people are more psychically in tune with the paranormal than others are. One person might see them where another might not, because they can pick up on the specific energies. What one might to do if you can't see them yourself is try some EVP work in a place known to be haunted. You might actually pick something up in your own room.
Most people can't see them coz they haven't opened up their channels, but they do exist trust me, I see them and they freak me out to no end...
