Grey wolves (Canis lupus) aren't actually all grey. Their fur color varies based, usually, on geographic location ranging from solid white to cinnamon to black. Also, they usually have color phases with a 'normal phase', 'black phase', and 'young phase' with each phase having a different predominance of certain color combinations.
