For someone that might know...I was in Oregon and heading to California and all throughout this vacation I saw nothing but Elk signs..and then ran into a herd of them. Since then and having taken pictures, I've had people telling me that they were not Elk but Caribou. So does anyone know if that's the case? Are they elk or caribou? OR can there be both in that region?? Any response would be appreciated... Thank you

The most common predators of the magnificent elk are canine related animals such as wolves, coyotes, and wild dogs. Humans are also considered to be predators of elk.
