Hydrogen bonding is responsible to maintain liquid state of fluids including water in living bodies other wise the fluids must be converted in gaseous state and living bodies should be dry or dead.

Because the hydrogen bonds help maintain a stable temperature. When heat is supplied to a solution of water, then it would first need to break the hydrogen bonds, then continue to rase the temperature.
