Well the main reason is that students were using their ipods to cheat on tests. The students had documents on their iPod, audio files on them, and short answers on their ipod. Another contributing factor was that it was a distraction, just like the cellphone deal. also that the school didn't want students to blame them for their ipod being stolen or lost. I don't think that they should be banned.
electronics should be allowed at school, like kids could use them at lunch, they are not allowed cause people, are wierd. and think that they can have them ? but kids cant ? . yeh we should be able to ! . so. if anyone sees this should think this is right (Y) . THEY SHOULD BE ALLOWED . like atleast at lunch or like after school ? . like what is something happens ? . teachers get blamed ? yuppp !. thanks .
yes ipods are distracting at school because you are paying more attention to your ipod then you are with your school work
We can't have iPods in school because kids will listen to them while the teacher is talking, and it is distracting to themselves and other students.
APPS!!
yah my school does:]
Say that the teachers would only let students take iPods to school if they have good grades and no detentions. Then that would motavate the students.
No
they shouldn't because they help people think and learn better. but if they use them for games they can be a big distraction
they should be banned because it is a waist of school time and money.
it is not banned it is controversal because it is not school compliant
It's harder to listen to the teacher and it is distracting.
That really depends on your personal opinion. Generally speaking, ipods should not be allowed to be used in class since it detracts you from paying attention to the teacher or professor and doing well in school. Ipods should only be used between classes or during times of studying, never in class.
