Bear in mind that no two individuals are exactly the same. However, seeing that indentical twins result from the same fertilized egg with the same sperm, they are essentially clones of each other.

this is because they are made from the same cell but split in half when in the mothers womb so they share all of the same genes and DNA causing them to be them to be identical and more similar than ordinary brothers and sisters

The closeness starts in the womb because they are touching and close the whole time. I am an identical twin and me and my sister are EXTREMELY close. It feels like she a part of me.
