Best Answer

They are endangered as they live in dense highland forests nearby the water bodies and their habitat is getting destructed at a greater rate. King cobras are one of a kind i.e. they have their own genus 'Ophiophagus' which means feeding on other snakes.Their food availability is also a problem due to the destruction of their habitats.there are loads of misbeliefs related to the snake which leads to killing of the king. They have an international demand for skin for which they are poached. Thus King Cobra is Endangered.
