Christians believe in an all-powerful divine being. Therefore, by definition a Christian cannot be an atheist.
Yes there are many fiscally conservative atheists. And many christains are liberals. I am an example of the latter.
No - why?
Many of the people in Japan are either Christians, Shinto Buddhists, or atheists.
All Christians or atheists
At first, Christians would have been thought of as Jews. After the split between Christianity and Judaism, late in the first century, Christians were thought of as atheists.
The question is flawed for two reasons:It assumes all atheists think about Christians crying while praying. They don't.It assumes there is an authority that speaks for all atheists. There isn't.
Christians do not, generally, hate atheists but there are many Christians who see atheism as "ridiculous" primarily because of there own confidence in their God. Many Christians see miracles as proof of the existence of God. So, they might feel angry towards atheists. However, the Bible says not to hate anyone, so it would probably be wise to remind that christian person of his own beliefs.
OpinionChristians are in the business of converting the world to their way of thinking. They are under the mistaken notion that all good moral behavior comes from religious laws and beliefs and that theirs are the best. Atheists are anathema in this process since they choose to not adhere to any religious beliefs. It should be noted that not all Christians harass atheists but many sects preach against atheism from their pulpits and often paint a picture of atheists that doesn't mirror reality.

Non-Catholics, non-Christians and Atheists.
No. While there are atheists in the US, most Americans identify as Christians.
By definition, atheists don't believe in God; therefore they can't "believe in what Christians think."that being said, atheists do have moral guide lines, not unsimilar from christians or any other follower of any religion. the claim that atheists are immoral is totally unjustified.considering that atheism is merely not believing in a god, that is arguably the only definite belief that is opposed, an atheist can can believe in everything else that a christian believes aside from their position on faith.
