This question, as written, is a little confusing. Food goes bad because of action of bacteria and other micro-organisms. Micro-organisms need moisture to survive. So dry food tends to keep longer than wet food, when exposed to the air, because micro-organisms are missing the vital water they need to multiply. Wet food is generally prepared at high temperature, which kills the micro-organisms, and then sealed still at the high temperature. The contents of the package are sterile, and so won't go bad because of bacteria -- at least until the package is opened. Once bacteria get in, of course, all wet food will spoil.
