Nickel and Platinum are good conducters of electricity as the metal atoms are so large that the outer electron shell is very far away from the nucleus. The positive charge on the nucleus pulls the electrons into a cloud around it. If the distance between the positive and the negative electrons is very high, the strength of attraction betweem them would also be very weak.

Strong acids are good conductors of electricity because they are strong electrolytes, which means they ionize more completely, therefore strong electrolytes are good conductors of electricity.

Some nonmetallic materials are good conductors, graphite being an example. In this form, it is considered a semi-metal for that reason. Normally, however, nonmetals are not good electrical conductors.
they are NOT good conductors of heat and they are brittle solids.
Any metal, such as gold, silver, nickel, platinum, iron.
All metals will have plenty of electrons in conduction band. Hence Tungston and Platinum are good conductors of electricity as they are metals. S.Lakshminarayana.
Copper, aluminum, gold, iron, silver, lead, tin, platinum, nickel and tungsten.
A nickel will conduct electricity. So is not an insulator.
1. Metals are good conductors of electricity.2.An electrolyte solution conducts electricity.3. Wood and nonmetals are not good conductors of electricity.
Generally speaking, materials that are good conductors of heat are good conductors of electricity. But there is a notable exception. Diamond, an allotrope of carbon, conducts heat better than any metal, but it is an electrical insulator.
Glass and rubber are not good conductors of electricity.
Most metals are good conductors of heat and electricity.
Generally metals and ions (in solution) are good conductors of electricity. Eg. iron, copper, nickel, molten sodium chloride, aqueous sodium chloride etc.
All metals are pretty good conductors of electricity.
Yes. US nickels are made of copper and nickel, while Canadian nickels are made of plated steel, all of which are good conductors of electricity.
Metals are usually good conductors of heat and electricity.
