No its not. Mountains are very cold. Colder than anything else than i can image. If this does not help then im very sorry after all im only 8 years old
It would not be very cold, as it can be colder than that at times, going into freezing on cold winter days and nights.
Mountains are colder than lower elevations because as you go higher in altitude, the air becomes thinner and can't hold onto heat as well. This causes temperatures to drop, making it colder in the mountains.
Days are longer than nights in the summer, and the reverse in the winter.
The relationship between day and night and seasons is that the length of daylight and darkness determines the changing of seasons. In areas where days are longer than nights, it is typically warmer, indicating summer. Conversely, when nights are longer than days, it is generally colder, signifying winter. The tilt of Earth's axis also plays a significant role in the changing seasons.
In 2009, the days will become longer than the nights in Phoenix, Arizona on March 17th and will remain so until September 28th.
There are mountains near the Equator and near the South Pole. Obviously, the peak of a mountain is colder than at the foot.
Mountainous climates are generally colder than others, so in this case, it would be colder in the mountains than in the rest of Southern Europe.
Mountains are colder than lower elevations because as altitude increases, the air pressure decreases, causing the air to expand and cool. This results in lower temperatures in mountainous regions compared to lower elevations.
It depends. If the river is in the mountains or near the Poles than it's probably colder but if the ocean is like the arctic ocean or something like that then that's probably colder
Days get shorter and nights get longer until the winter solstice, at which point the days become longer and the nights become shorter.
Mountains are colder than lowlands because as altitude increases, the air pressure decreases, causing the air to expand and cool. Additionally, mountains are often snow-capped because they receive less direct sunlight due to their elevation and can experience quicker weather changes.
sorry
