Since Anacondas are at the top of the food chain in their habitat, the only real threat comes from humans in their efforts to use anacondas skin for profit. This may range from shoes to other man made accessories at the expense of this creature. Anacondas are also hunted and killed because humans fear them.

What eats andcondas?

Anacondas, being large snakes, have few natural predators. However, young anacondas can fall prey to larger birds of prey, caimans, and even larger snakes. Adult anacondas are sometimes hunted by jaguars, which are among their few natural enemies. Humans also pose a threat through hunting and habitat destruction.
