Pies contain Transfat which can NEVER be burned off. But these Transfats can be used to create muscle. You know those big Ab Body Builders? They eat junk, but the junk gets converted to muscle. So if you wanna be a lean Taylor Lautner thin muscle guy, no pie for you. But if you want to be a huge hulking mad body builder, 5 pies a day, and hard exercise with weights.
No, apple pie is not really bad for you. But (there is always a but) too much fat in the pastry, and too much sugar added to the apple mix, is bad. Eaten in moderation, and cleaning your teeth afterwards, is good.
It isn't necessarily "bad", but it isn't healthy to eat too much of it.

Pies have many flavours. There are meat pies and fruit pies etc.

There are single crust pies and double crust pies. Pumpkin is always a single crust pie. Apple pies and berry pies are usually double crust pies.
Party pies are exactly the same except smaller.
