it's called "fear of unknown"
because the whites were afraid of black
My feeling is , people have been brainwashed to believe what they know.
Honestly, aside from the narrow mindedness of this question, please do learn to spell black and afraid. I think the answer is more of a why are people afraid of water. I would have to ask if the people in question are afraid from all water, or jumping in to an ocean or river. Please don't take this as an insult, but just because a certain group of people are afraid of something doesn't mean all of them are. I know a human who is afraid of spiders, are all humans?
When Black Death spread. People thought it as anger of god.
There are no Republicans in this group.
Some of the methods of the KKK were violence and threats against black people and white republicans.
No, dogs are not afraid of the color black.
because it was unfair to the black people the way they treat them and rules they make for the black
Black people are cool, eh doesnt afraid of anything
Radical Republicans believed black people were entitled to the same rights as everyone else, and believed the Confederates should be punished for going to war with their country. They also wanted to keep Republicans in power in both the North and the South.
People fear what they don't know and often don't take the time to get to know people of other races/cultures.
because republicans had just finished freeing the slaves as soon as the war was over and the southern states had been readmitted, southern democrats immediately set to work to pass laws limiting the freedom of black people.
